Windows 10 Setup for Radiology Reporting
High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode dynamically adjusts the appearance of an image for cinematic effect and interferes with the consistent presentation and ability to calibrate the display to radiology standards. To resolve this switch HDR off.
Disabling Windows 10 High Dynamic Range mode
- Select Start
- Under the Rearrange your displays, select the monitor you want to disable HDR mode for
- Select Windows HD Color settings. If the Play HDR games and apps setting is available under the Windows HDR Color section then HDR is available
- Under Display capabilities, check to make sure it says No next to Use HDR.
- Turn off Use HDR.
