Creating and Adding Document Content

1 min read

Using documents #

Create a document for the content of each help section using docs.

Use bold when for a specific menu action item e.g Click Exit

Use separate text blocks for tips. See below for further information.

When using ordered lists that span text blocks, start the next text block by adding the word <ol start = “23”> to the html under the Text tab.

Headings #

Use h2 headings in a document if you would like information to appear as a major section of the table of contents. The h1 setting is used in the settings for the Document title.

Subheadings #

Use h3 subheading in a document if you would like information to appear in a subsection of the table of contents

Adding sub-sub Heading (h4) #

Use h4 subheading in a document if you would like information to appear in a sub-subsection of the table of contents

Adding Images #

Before an image can be added to a document, it needs to be added to the Media folder. Add these to the applicable BetterDocsMedia subfolder in the Media

Adding Tips #

  1. Add and Edit Info Box from the widget selection.
  2. Edit the widget->Advanced->Css Classes add TipBox as the class
